Proven technology – consistently enhanced
DIOPTIC has been developing highly sophisticated optical technologies and solutions for more than 20 years. Based on our many years of experience with quality inspection in the optical industry, our ARGOS inspection system for objective and reproducible inspection of optical surfaces was developed 5 years ago. Inspired by the feedback of our customers, we have now developed our next generation system. With ARGOS matrix we follow the trends in the market: Optical systems are becoming more and more miniaturized, while production is becoming more and more automated.
Modular and configurable
ARGOS matrix can fully exploit its strengths for parts smaller than 15 mm but is also capable of testing larger components automatically. The system is built in a modular way. Resolution and illumination can be perfectly adapted to the specific inspection task. A switchable dark field illumination eliminates disturbing reflections even on curved surfaces. An additional backlight module lights up defects in chrome masks. With regard to the size of the image field, we find the perfect compromise between the desired test time and the required resolution for our customers.
Tabletop unit or batch inspection
In addition to the compact tabletop device for testing individual components, we also offer ARGOS matrix in a version for automated batch inspection of optical components. In this version, hundreds of components on a tray are inspected. It is also possible to integrate our ARGOS matrix measuring head into your automated system. Software and hardware interfaces for communication with other systems are provided.
Process reliability through digitization and reporting
As with all other devices of the ARGOS series, the user-independent and digitized testing by ARGOS matrix provides process safety through reproducible and objective results. Our AI-supported image processing ensures best defect detection on transparent and reflective surfaces. Results are graphically displayed and saved as inspection report in a selectable format.
